Sumner Tilton is a Trust & Estate Attorney who advises families, private foundations, and businesses of all sizes in the areas of Estate Planning, Trust Administration and Foundation Administration. He serves as Chairman of Fletcher Tilton's Investment Committee.
A lifelong resident of Worcester, Mr. Tilton is dedicated to numerous local causes, and in 2008 received the prestigious Isaiah Thomas Award, recognizing his civic involvement in the City of Worcester. An elected Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, Mr. Tilton has authored materials and served as a panelist for various MCLE estate planning seminars.

He holds an honorary doctor of laws degree from Clark University as well as an honorary doctor of laws degree from Assumption College. Mr. Tilton has dedicated countless hours to many community organizations. He received the prestigious Isaiah Thomas Award in 2008 which recognizes his civic involvement in the City of Worcester. He is a Life Trustee and former Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Clark University and is an Honorary Trustee of the Worcester Art Museum and the EcoTarium. He has served as Chairman of Choose Worcester, Inc. (a private non-profit Worcester economic development organization). He currently serves as Trustee of the Francis A. and Jacquelyn H. Harrington Foundation and currently serves as a member of the Worcester Redevelopment Authority. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Cape Cod Healthcare, Inc. He is a Trustee of the Ruth H. and Warren A. Ellsworth Foundation and the Mildred H. McEvoy Foundation.
